Former chef who used to work 70 hours a week is now a multi-millionaire

Meet Jem Wolfie. The latest social media entrepreneur who is working hard and making bank. She’s a qualified chef, talented basketball player who has turned her energies to building an empire using the internet.

Straight after high school, Jem smashed out a Chef apprenticeship. She quickly became jack of the 70 work weeks and the high pressure that comes with working in commercial kitchens.

Jem had always been interested in basketball, and decided to pursue a career in the sport full-time. This chick has got some serious ball skills let me tell ya. In a stroke of bad luck, Jem copped a serious knee injury and unfortunately for her, that meant her professional basketball dreams were cactus.

In a twist of fate, it’s actually the knee injury that started the ball rolling for a career in social media. Jem regularly posted short videos during her rehab and people were diggin’ it. She continued to post cool shit like basketball trick shots, fitness videos and workouts.

In an interview with Perth Now, she said:

“I started posting a lot of workout videos on Instagram, not only to motivate myself to get better and work out more often, but hopefully to inspire others to do the same.

There are a lot of squats, I know what my audience wants to see. You can never skip leg day.

I could have always been just a fitness chick but I had to stand out and be different, plus I was always passionate about basketball, so that was always going to be a part of my social media.

Jem is making the majority of her coin through the platform Only Fans. This is a subscription based website where she posts additional content that you can’t get on her Insta.

Perth Now reported:

Jem currently has the highest number of fans, with around 10,000 fans paying $15 per month to view her content.

Because the content is exclusive compared to that on her Instagram, Jem has earned over $2,000,000 since joining OnlyFans in August.

It’s obvious that Jem works hard at lookin’ good and she’s pretty comfortable gettin’ around in not much kit. But if you’re looking for a little bit more of a peek on Only Fans, it’s not happenin’.

Jem said:

People complain and say ‘Where’s the nudity’, but where are you going to go from there – you’ll be in full-blown porn before you know it.

I guess how I look on the outside has helped my career a lot, I can’t deny that. But I have a line for OnlyFans and I have a line for Instagram because I believe that there’s a certain amount that should never been shown, and I keep that for a potential partner I’d be with.

Anyone who tries to make me think I’m being exploited or objectified is so f**king wrong, that’s not how it is because I’m empowered and I’m the one making these choices with a strategy in mind.

Final Thought: Gone are the days when you get a job or career after school and spend the next 50 years doing hard yakka in the same job ya hate. Jem thought she wanted a career in the food industry and had the balls to go in a completely different direction and follow her basketball dreams.  She f**cked her knee playing basketball, but didn’t moan about; just got on with reinventing herself again and creating her empire. Good on her I reckon.
