This Cheeky monkey photobombs a family photo and flips them the bird!

If you’ve been reading Ozzy Man Reviews for a while, you know full-well what we think of monkeys. To put it simply, we don’t trust the buggers. Not only are they dodgy little thieves, they’re also recklessly violent – particularly in India – and, to be honest, they’re bloody grubs. If you’re questioning that bold claim, have a look at the actions of one middle-finger-wielding monkey from Bali’s Ubud Monkey Forest…

We’ll start things off with a bit of that context you all love so much, and then we’ll get into it. This time, we’re joining the Hicks family on their trip to Bali. It’s a whirlwind week of sun, bintangs, braids and bloody monkeys!

Yep, we’re going into the Monkey Forest. Be warned. The monkeys really do run the show in there. As you walk through, they swoop and dive-bomb through the trees looking for unsuspecting tourists who’ve made the mistake of bringing bananas. Once they’ve found ‘em, they swarm!

Anyway, we’ll let Judy, the matron of the Hicks family take over from here!

“We were only in Bali for a week and thought it would be fun to go on a day tour around. As part of the tour, we went to the monkey forest. I thought it would be a fun experience.

“While we were there, a guide offered to take our photo. But as he did, a monkey suddenly came in front of the camera.” (Crikey! That’s a bit naughty! ) The guide had peanuts in his hand and then began feeding him. It was really funny.

“As I was flicking through the photos afterwards, I noticed that in one of them the monkey was actually giving us the finger. I showed my husband and we both started laughing. We thought it was hilarious.

“The monkey definitely had a cheeky persona going on. We had such a great time there and these funny photos made it even better.

“The experience was one of the highlights of our trip, and the photo itself is something we can look back on to remember forever. Bali is such a beautiful place and we can’t wait to go back one day.”

Final thought: So there you have it blokes and blokettes, go to Bali and get a photo of a monkey. Just don’t be ashamed when it flips you the bird. Or comes in front of the camera. Snigger.
