Men Using Snapchat’s New Filter Are Experiencing What It’s Like Being A Woman On Tinder

It’s not really a secret that thousands of chicks who’ve gone online to try and find a date – and even some who haven’t – have had to deal with the inundation of desperate, presumptuous and downright uncalled-for messages they get from random blokes. It’s been well documented and we don’t need to cover that too much. What is new to the discussion, though, is Snapchat’s new gender-swapping filter. It’s giving a few blokes a bit of a taste of what sheilas endure on a regular basis…

Obviously, the first thing a s**t-tonne of blokes did when they heard there was a gender-swapping feature was download the c**t and try it out. We don’t know exactly what it is that appeals so much about dressing up like a sheila, but we do know it’s funny. It’s a classic of comedy and it doesn’t seem like that’s going to change.

Of course, some dudes might be using it for more personal reasons, but what matters here is that blokes using the Snapchat filter are suddenly experiencing exactly what it’s like to be a sheila on a dating app. That’s because blokes have obviously set up Tinder accounts to catfish other blokes – and if s**t goes exceedingly well, their own mates.

After all, what could be funnier than soliciting a dick-pic from your mate Baz under the guise of a ‘fun’ sheila on Tinder. It’s almost Shakespearian in its genius. And don’t tell us that he wouldn’t have written that into a play if he had Snapchat back in the day.

One bloke who gave it a try, sharing his results online, was Twitter user MohimenMahbuba. He reckons  said, “Used the Snapchat filter on Tinder for 30 minutes, and in conclusion I hate men.”

It is however, user Cans4Hans who sums it up best: “My brother’s using the Snapchat filter to catfish guys on tinder and it’s absolutely seen me off. HOW do these men think that is a real woman’s face??”

Final thought: Yeah, on reflection, we make Cans4Hans right. Who’s looking at these pictures and thinking these are real people they’re messaging? Still, despite that, we hope that at some point, those dudes who are experiencing exactly what it’s like to be a sheila online have gathered a new-found appreciation for the chicks – and might even realise it’s not called Plenty of Fish because you dangle your worm in the water and wait for a bite!
