RATM Killing In The Name Played ON A SHOVEL

One of my absolute, hands down, fair dinkum favourite songs of all time is Rage Against the Machine – Killing in the Name.

I’m pretty obsessed with RATM as a whole, but boy I’m whisked away to a wonderful world of passion and raw anger whenever I hear Killing in the Name.

It was one of the first songs I learnt on guitar when I was a scrawny 14-year-old. I love it so damn much I also learnt it on drums when I was a fat 28-year-old.

Anyway, I’ll stop tooting my own bloody horn. I really should stop being an apathetic 30-year-old and get back to me instruments one day– anyway, anyway…

YouTuber Rob Scallon has whipped out a mint cover of Killing in the Name.

He plays it on…a one string shovel. Yep, you heard me cobber. A. One. String. Shovel. Complete with metal distortion. Video is below ya wankers:

That is a damn solid cover I reckon.

He seems to have a couple of videos using the one string shovel on his channel. Solid channel overall. I’m gonna sub the shit out of it.
