Woman gets roasted online after advertising a room for rent with ridiculous rules
Some people just love being in charge of sh**. It gives them a real rush. A real head-trip. A real feeling of power and self-satisfaction. Take this American chick who advertised a room for rent on AirBNB as a real-life example of this…
One of the joys of living in your own place is that you can set your own rules and behave as you see fit. You can even decide on the rules other people have to follow when they come visit.
Don’t want people to smoke inside, tell them to get the f**k out when they wanna spark a darb. Don’t want people to eat anywhere except the table. That’s your prerogative. You know how it works – and it’s all fine.
Of course, if you want to advertise your place to rent, you have to understand that people who aren’t guests and are actually tenants might need a few allowances. The ability to wash their clothes, use the sh**ter and have a brewski when they come home from work. It’s just normal.
That’s probably why one particular lady from the US recently copped a roasting online for advertising a room with rules that forbade those kinds of freedoms.
The thing is, I think this whole thing gets silly pretty quickly. The first comment to get the roasting going was probably unnecessary. I mean, if you’re not interested just move on and mind your business – but then, this is the internet.
On the other side of the coin, if you get some grief online, just hit block and move on.
So when the advertiser starts responding to the haters with extreme levels of sass – and not a lot of common sense – it’s pretty obvious things are going to escalate.

Final thought: I get it. The internet makes it easy to just go on the attack and lambast the f**k out of someone; especially when you forget there are real people behind the avatars and bad grammar. To be a bit like Jerry Springer, you should try to remember to take care of each other – and yourselves. Even if that person has set rules that would be more at home in the Puritan era than now.
I mean, I wouldn’t live there, but you know, I have a tent.
