This car crash has divided the Internet

We see them everywhere we go: on the streets, in car parks, and, thankfully, on YouTube videos online. I’m obviously talking about sh*t drivers. Yerp, I don’t know about you, but I swear there are more and more of these pricks on the road these days. Thank f**k for dashcams, so we can all see who’s at fault when a simple driving task goes tits up then!

Sometimes though, it’s not necessarily easy for everyone to know who’s at fault – even when it’s on camera. With that in mind, let’s check out today’s video. It was originally uploaded to a Facebook group called Perth’s Worst Drivers. If Perth is anything like Ozzyland’s other regional cities, there must be some pretty dodgy stuff on there.

Right, what we’ve got is a couple of sheilas on the school run. I don’t know about you, but footage like this does not bode well for any little buggers trying to make their way to or from school. I’m pretty sure both of these drivers have their eyes closed tighter than a nun’s nasty.

Let’s talk about the woman doing the reverse park first. Usually, there’s nothing wrong with that. It doesn’t look like anyone else has done it in the photo, but we’ll give her the benefit of the doubt. After all, she might need to get the pram or a wheelchair out, or load it up with bags. Logically though, looking at the position of the cars when the video starts, she has to have been there first.

Which brings us to old love in the white sedan. It looks to me like she doesn’t even know the other sheila is there. And that probably explains why she just f**ken hooks it. Although, it has to be said that even if the other chick was there first she should have bloody well stopped when she saw what was going on.

So, who’s to blame for this bingle? There’s been discussion online about it, and the answer doesn’t seem particularly clear – even if it’s probably both of them. One sheila, Carly Turner said, “The dark car was already moving into the bay. White car clearly never looked or used mirrors,” and Sam Pang backed her up. “White car driver [was] clearly at fault for proceeding without giving way and also crossing the line. If white car reverses not like an idiot there would be no collision,” Pang volunteered.

Jack Gibney took a different position though. “Perfect reason why the dude in the SUV should have picked the next empty spot!”

Final thought: If there’s one thing I can add here it’s this: drive with your eyes open at all times and try not to kill anyone, ya legends.
