Suffering bloke texts Pasta Helpline instead of depression line, gets incredible response

As much as we like to think that life is all fun, games, YouTube videos and d**k jokes, we just have to face reality and understand that some people are doing it tough. Deadset, we all have our hard moments, but for some people, things have really been kicking them in the d**k for quite a while. When we come across someone like this, it’s f**ken grouse when we do what we can to help them get back on their feet. If you need advice on how, check out this glorious exchange…

G’day ya bloody gorgeous f**kknuckles. How ya going? If no one’s told you that you’re bloody awesome today, let us be the first to do it. Seriously, you c**ts are awesome. You know who else is awesome? Sarah from this Pasta Helpline. She’s super awesome.

In fact, she’s so bloody awesome that when a bloke suffering from depression contacted her instead of The National Suicide Hotline, she didn’t brush him off and give him the flick. She f**ken stuck around longer than the smell of burnt bolognaise, and gave him some uplifting advice.

Initially, she sticks to the scripts and says she can only talk about the pasta products her company is known for, but notice how she still doesn’t tell old mate to get nicked? Yeah, nah, she keeps the lines of communication open.

From there, our bloke on the other line, keeps going down the same track, but adds in some pretty f**ken poetic metaphors about s**tty lasagne. Again, you get the feeling that a lot of folks would have steered this fella towards a more appropriate helpline, but she serves up some goodness.

“Mistakes happen sometimes,” she says. “But things can be fixed if the lasagne decides to try again.” This is f**ken commendable. Obviously, we’re not gonna get ahead of ourselves, but just giving that bloke someone to talk to could have made all the difference.
