Bloke shows barber paused screenshot of haircut he wants, backfires

There’s probably more than a few of you out there who’ve gone into the barber with an image to explain exactly what sort of haircut you want. After all, who hasn’t wanted to look like their favourite movie star in the hope it’ll help them pull the sheilas. Quick word of advice, though, don’t be like the bloody drongo who used a screenshot of a paused video to show the barber how he wanted his hair to look.

No matter how many times it gets said, we can always find new examples to illustrate the point that when you’re asking for a service, you have to be very explicit these days. You just can’t leave anything up to chance. Deadset, because this poor fella gave the barber an image that contained the watermarked ‘play’ triangle in it, the barber, took things very literally, and f**ken shaved play symbols into either sides of old mate’s hair.

Chinese entertainment blogger Tian Xiu Bot shared images of the barnet disaster on the Chinese version of Twitter, Weibo, and people bloody love it. The image has 20,000 comments, has been shared 22,000 times and has 78,000 likes.

In fairness to old mate, he’s taken the whole thing pretty well. He knows it’ll grow out and there’s no harm done, and he’s got a unique f**ken do. Who knows, it might even end up setting a bloody trend. It’s easily better than those stupid f**ken lines people get in their eyebrows.

Having a laugh about it, Tian Xiu Bot said, “There are not so many rigorous hairdressers like this left.” And he’s right. We guess it goes to show exactly why you should be explicit and make sure any examples you provide are free from confusing little extras.

In a final example of how well old mate’s taken it, he was filmed strutting around and showing off the haircut as if it was the best thing that ever happened to him. By the sounds of all this, it seems like old mate might have actually wanted the play symbols in there to start with!

Final thought: This is a tops little f**k-up in that it’s pretty bloody harmless and it’s ended well for everyone involved. Old mate’s got his fifteen minutes of fame and it’ll probably grow out in no time.
