This tattoo-artist has a steampunk tattoo-gun prosthesis

We talk a lot about the future here at Ozzy Man Reviews. Usually, we’re pretty f**ken impressed with a new turn in technology or a medical discovery, but today, we’re pretty bloody stoked with this tattoo-artist’s prosthesis. Put short, we reckon this is the kinda thing you’d read about in a steampunk novel. It is f**ken mintox!

Rightio, while pretty much all jobs require the use of your hands, there are some jobs that you’d think are a bit more specialised and require a high level of fine motor skills. Tattooist is probably one of them. After all, while you mightn’t wanna go and bodge the owl you’re drawing on some sheila’s throat, you certainly don’t wanna bodge the tramp-stamp you’re putting on Bob the Bikey’s missus.

So when French bloke JC Sheitan Tenet lost his arm twenty-odd years ago, he had to learn how to draw with non-dominant left-hand if he was going to be a tattoo artist.

But then, later in life when Tenet met another French artist, JL Gonzal, the two got talking about ways to make a prosthetic arm. Gonzal, already well-known for his mechanised taxidermies, got to work. He used bits of old typewriter to give the arm a steampunk look and painted it with a rusty finish.

While it’s still a work in progress, Tenet has wasted no time setting to work. Now, the bloody legend tattoos people with his prosthetic tattoo-gun arm, and to be honest, the results are pretty bloody schmick.

So not only can you get yourself a tattoo from someone who’s pretty much a cyborg from the future, it might even look all right as well.

Final thought: We’ve said this before, but the determination of the human spirit is something to be applauded. Seriously, many people would have just given the f**k up before they even started. Not JC Sheitan Tenet, though. Yeah, nah, what a top bloke!
