This Acapella group bloody nails Windows sound effects
In the world of technology, there probably aren’t too many sound effects that are as familiar as those that come with a Windows computer. Yeah, nah, the bloody things are ubiquitous, and the sound effects the computer spits out to accompany our everyday use are part and parcel of our lives. Still, you wouldn’t think people could imitate those sounds too perfectly. But that’s where a capella group Maytree comes in. Check out their impressions of the famous sounds below…
Yeah, nah, look, if you’re a Mac user, some of these sounds will probably leave you feeling a bit cold. Still, that doesn’t take away from the spot-on renditions these guys are able to produce.
In the video down below, you’ll see—and hear—them bust out pitch-perfect impressions of the USB in and out sounds, the recycle bin crunch, the start-up theme, and the shutdown tones. And then there’s their take on the error sound effect. If that one doesn’t rock your world, we don’t know what will.
The group in question is Korean a capella group Maytree. We haven’t come across them before, but if you’re into a capella sounds, you might want to check this one out.
