Entire College Campus Uses Snapchat To Help Bring These Strangers Together
It seems that more and more these days finding love, finding someone to cuddle up to, finding someone to Netflix and bloody chill with is all about getting online.
It only makes sense. Millennials and old folks alike are always booting up the social media, putting their face on Facebook, acting like a twit on Twitter and looking for that spark on Tinder.
I’ve got to be honest; I’d be pretty bloody surprised if you don’t know at least one couple that met online. In fact, if you didn’t you’re probably an old bastard with saggy balls and a wispy grey bush. Gross.
But you know what, I reckon finding someone to whisper sweet nothings to on the internet has a bit of a bad rap. It’s not uncommon to think it’s just a place for players and playettes. But you know what, if you meet someone on line and you end up thinking, nah yeah, I can sniff their farts forever, I can grow old and wrinkled with them, then that’s bloody good for everyone, right?
Anyway, for a truly heart-warming online love story, we need to look no further that the bloody University of Wisconsin-Madison. That’s where two lovebirds met – with a little help from their friends. And by friends I mean the whole bloody campus.
The match was made on Snapchat – and it basically went down like this:
A dude from the uni posted a video wearing a Minnesota Vikings jersey. A keen chicky saw the video and responded by saying, “I’m seriously in love with you.” Love at first site. F*****g grouse!
The eager beaver posted her location in a wicked come-get-me plea to Mr Minnesota Vikings. He responded on the same chat by telling her to come and meet him in a certain place, but old love somehow missed it.
Fortunately, the rest of the campus went into rescue mode! They dubbed her Mystery Girl and him Vikings Fan – and even made some Snapchat filters to help.
Finally, with the good old college try, the two met. Eat your heart out, Billy Shakespeare. That’s a modern love story!
