It’s hard to imagine that when Yahoo Answers was first brainstormed back in the early 90s, it’s creators could have foreseen the path the well-known Q&A site would take. Yeah, nah, designed with good intentions, it somehow became the place to ask whatever dumb s**t you were too scared to ask your friends. Well, with the news that it’s finally closing down after more than twenty-five years of hilarity, it’s probably time to look back on some of the greatest questions ever asked on the site.

Just in case you’re not quite aware of Yahoo Answers, it’s essentially a community forum where people can ask questions and get informative answers from all over the world.

Yeah, nah, we’re not gonna spend our time here typing out a bunch of stuff you can read in these images, but we’re sure you can imagine what’s happened. Through the course of evolution, it’s kind of become a safe space for those questions you’re too scared to ask your friends.

You know, you’ve got that burning question that you think might be too dumb to ask in public, or you might have something that’s too embarrassing to share and you don’t want to out yourself, so you make up a username, hop online, and ask complete strangers.

Unfortunately, when we say safe space, we’re not implying you were safe from ridicule, troll answers, or complete bulls**t, but at least you didn’t have to out yourself to friends and family. As such, some of the questions that are asked on there are met with truly hilarious responses.
