UFC Legend Khabib Nurmagomedov offered three sheep to meet NBA superstar
One of our favourite things about the internet is quirky news. Yeah, nah, deadset, who needs to read about war, corruption, politics, and hate when there’s humorous and bizarre news to read? So, with that said, we bloody loved this story about MMA legend Khabib Nurmagomedov. Turns out the bloke is mad keen on meeting Michael Jordan, and he’s prepared to pay three sheep to make it happen…
The story came to light when Khabib was working the rounds and hyping interest for his upcoming Eagle FC 44 Event in Miami, Florida.
Speaking to American comedian Bob Menery, the retired fighter cum promoter claimed that he would love to meet Michael Jordan.
In the exchange, which Menery shared to Instagram, he asks Khabib how many sheep he’ll get if he can make the meeting happen.
“Three. Three sheep. If you make me and Michael Jordan meet, I’m gonna give you three sheep.”
“Well,” Menery replies, “Get your three sheep ready because…”

It’s a bloody awesome little exchange that shows Khabib is clearly having fun promoting his new MMA vehicle, Eagle FC. And with a bunch of fighters already signed to his roster and plenty of interest in it, that’s no surprise.
Still, back on topic, Menery is now trying to figure out how he can pull the right strings to make the meeting happen. He captioned his video by asking, “We made some weird deals on the @fullsendpodcast show today. I gotta now get to Michael Jordan. Who can assist? I want those sheep. @khabib_nurmagomedov I’m coming for your sheep.”
Let’s hope this happens.
Final thought: We don’t know about you, but we bloody love seeing athletes lighten up and relax. Obviously, high-level sport is an intense place to exist, so this kinda s**t always brings a smile to our faces.
