Sheila’s text convo with mum who wants to buy her car goes viral for all the right reasons

Right now, I’m sitting here enjoying the bewdiful smell you get when it’s just started to rain after a hot day, and reading s**t on the internet. Firstly, that smell’s called petrichor and that’s a great word, but that’s not the most amazing thing. The bloody internet gods have seen fit to share with us a text exchange email that doesn’t feature some random being a rude prick to someone who’s ‘trying to be nice’ before flipping the script with a ‘twist’ gotcha for the douchebag…

You know what the f**k we’re talking about here. These text exchange viral posts have almost become a genre of their own, and it’s pretty bloody understandable that plenty of you awesome f**kers reckon half of them are full of s**t.

Just quietly, that thought crosses our minds every time we see someone ‘get what they deserve’ in a viral text exchange post. Although, having said that, fiction is a bloody awesome thing, and if those posts were clearly marked as ‘bulls**t’ we’d have no problem with it.

Anyway, f**k those other posts. This particular text exchange post is way better. And, yeah, it could also be a load of s**t, but that’s all right. This one’s of the feel-good variety and those are a tad rarer in a world consumed by a love of drama and a need for conflict.

The general gist of it is that it starts out like a regular text exchange story with the ‘annoying’ woman asking for something that could be construed as a bit over the top, but this time, the person trying to sell the car doesn’t just pretend to be nice before f**king them over. Yeah, nah, they legit are nice, and instead of being a cock, they straight up gift the car to the person who contacted them.

Final thought: You’ve got to love a positive story. Don’t get me wrong, because we love a nasty one as much as the next bloke – and if they’re entertaining, we truly don’t give a shit if they’re made up – but seeing humans be amazing to other humans is some  f**ken top notch s**t. Talk about a top sheila. Bloody hell!
