Blokes critical analysis of TV chef cooking rice goes viral

We don’t know if you’ve seen a recent video doing the rounds where TV chef Hersha Patel shows viewers how to cook egg fried rice, but you might be aware that London-based Malaysian YouTuber Uncle Roger has had his say on the video, and to be honest, things aren’t looking good for the chef. Yeah, nah, Uncle Rog f**ken roasts her!

Anyway, you’ve gotta have a bloody good watch of the video here, because Uncle Roger, aka Nigel Ng, has some bloody classic reactions. We’re not gonna go spoiling it all for you here, but it’s safe to say the YouTube personality doesn’t hold back.

To be honest, we can’t blame him. We’re hardly culinary experts here at Ozzy Man Reviews, but watching Patel cook the rice, even we knew she ‘f**ked up.’

Pretty much as soon as it starts, Rog is all over her style. She’s telling people to measure out the water, and he’s like, ‘Yeah, nah, why you measuring it with a cup? Just use the first joint of your finger!’

After that, things get worse. As she starts running it through a colander, Uncle Roger bursts out with, “What’s she doing? What’s she doing? You’re killing me! What you doing! If you’re rice is too wet, you f**ked up! Don’t bring a colander into your rice!”

Still, it’s worth mentioning that despite the roasting he gives her, the two actually met up the other day, and Rog will be going over to her joint to show her exactly how it’s done.

“Go follow her. Hersha is really good, she’s a great presenter, funny, but don’t post anything mean on her Instagram, all right? Otherwise, Uncle Roger will come for you. Uncle Roger’s next video will be Uncle Roger going to Hersha’s place, and she will be showing Uncle Roger how to make rice the right way, the Indian way.”
