This legend absolutely tears it up on a 14-string guitar
Yeah, look, we’re not gonna sit here and pretend we know much about guitars. The reason for that is simple, we don’t know much about ‘em. We know they sound f**ken good, all the best music is played on ‘em, and they can be acoustic or electric. Still, when we saw a video of a bloke ripping it up on one with 14 strings, we were like, yeah, nah, we’ve gotta share this…
So here we are. And don’t get us wrong, we know that there’s gonna be 70,000 ponytailed legends in the comments section going, ‘meh’, but we reckon that for the average bloke and the average blokette, this is bloody sweet.

The original poster goes by the name of Ichika Nito, and they’ve got a tonne of awesome guitar-related s**t on their YouTube channel, and we reckon that if you’re into that sort of thing, you’ll be able to spend a fair bit of time there.

As for the metalheads who’ve heard about the 14-string guitar and imagined something so heavy it could crush bones, you’re s**t out of luck. Yeah, nah, this thing probably could be distorted and put to good use by some of the genre’s biggest shredders, but that’s not what this video’s about.

To us, we reckon old Ichika f**ken rips it up, though. We don’t know whether the Aeolian scales are on point, the sweep-picking is clean, or the augmented fourths are doing the business, but the shit sounds f**ken good, and that’s what it’s all about really. (We also don’t know whether or not any of that s**t’s even in there, so don’t bloody have a whinge, all right, we’re just trying to sound clever!)
