Brave horse runs back into dangerous wildfire to rescue other horses

We all know that horses are pretty f**ken majestic creatures that are smart as hell. Deadset, there’s a reason they’ve been a part of our history for about a bajillion bloody years. S**t, we reckon they’ve got a pretty good claim to being up there with dogs and cats. They’re just that good. And when you see the footage we’ve got for you today, you’re gonna be like, “Yeah, man, that was bloody bonza!”

As you may or may not be aware, California’s bloody burning again.

We don’t know the ins and outs of the fire, but we reckon it must have something to do with not sweeping the forest floors like they do in Finland. After all, some gumby reckons that works a treat over there.

Anyway, during a pretty f**ken hectic period that saw 1300 acres burn in just a few hours, a bunch of Simi Valley residents were busy getting themselves and their horses right the f**k out of dodge. And that’s when one bloody heroic horse went to work.

After being led out of the flames, this horse must have heard the panicked whinnying of its mates (or possibly its family). Instead of following through with the escape mission, it channels The Outsiders and runs straight back into the flames to guide two other horses out.

Fortunately, this bloody legendary equine champion was more Ponyboy than Johnny Cake and gets his own ass out of there safe and sound. Look at the big bloody hero bolting into the fire and the flames faster than a Dragonforce solo.

From there, he’s like, “It’s f**ken this way c**ts! Let’s go!” What a top bloke! Good on ya, horse. Good on ya!

Final thought: Sometimes we overlook the brilliance of horses, but this is a worthy reminder. Next time you see a horse, don’t think about the glue factory or meat pies. Think about their role as one of the grousest bloody creatures in history and remind yourself that with today’s rising fuel costs, you really can’t afford not to get one.
