Wildlife Wombat Gates enable them to film loads of Aussie animals – check the footage!

All right, We’re not gonna lie, due to the nature of our site, we often spend a lot of time talking about the Ozzy animals that can f**k you up, and sometimes, sometimes, that means we neglect the cuter critters. Yeah, nah, the marsupials need just as much love as the reptiles, the sharks, and the spiders and we sometimes forget that. Today, though, we’re hoping to make that up to you with some bonza footage captured at wombat gates in Tasmania.

Before we get started, we’ve gotta give a big bloody shout-out to Tas Wildlife. These bloody legends pump tonnes of footage onto the internet that they capture on their home in southern Tassy, and we’ve gotta say that some of it’s pretty f**ken special.

Give their Facey site a like and check out some of the good stuff on there, but first, let us share our thoughts about a little collection of vids they’ve shared with the ABC.

Basically, they’ve installed a few gates around the joint that are designed to let wombats and other marsupials in and out while keeping their stock firmly where they want them. We won’t go waffling, though, we’ll let them describe it.

“I’ve stitched together some of the best clips in chronological order from end Oct/ beginning Nov. A southern brown bandicoot gets ever bigger until it can barely push under the gate, a very pale brushtail possum brings its baby for a walk, Eastern quolls and wombats pass under/ through the gate and superb fairy wrens patrol the area.”

They continue by saying, “Also seen were pademelons with joeys on board, one solitary clip of the increasingly rare eastern barred bandicoot, a grey fantail and Tasmanian Devils. However, those latter clips were unfortunately too blurry to publish.”

We reckon this is f**ken grouse and we can’t wait to see more!

Final thought: Yeah, nah, this is some mintox local wildlife and we bloody love the fact it all gets to show the world how cute and cuddly it is. Give it a squiz, and then give the Tas Wildlife page a like!
