Conor McGregor and Mike Tyson get blazed together and bury the hatchet

You know, you really don’t have to go far to find a stoner who’ll tell you that world conflict could easily be ended if every mother**ker just toked on a spliff and talked it out. Of course, the chances of that happening are slim to none, but if we take that concept to a smaller scale and apply it to beefing celebrities, it might just result in fewer feuds. Considering the constant drama and conflict present in the high-stakes world of pro combat sport, it’s great to see two of its biggest names meeting up to turn over a new leaf.

I went to see Mike Tyson last night in the Helix, Dublin, Ireland. I love and respect Mike Tyson. And I love the Helix. I won my first World Title here, and also my second. It was good to meet you Mike. You spoke some things about me in the past which I did not like and I was happy to speak to you face to face, put it to bed and have some fun. You are in good spirits and I was happy to see this! I will always have the height of respect for you! Some decisions you have made around your finances I do not agree with. As a fighter you must fight here. The most. And this is a fight that never ends. It is even a fight that we pass on to our next in line. Our blood line. Make sure you stay switched on with those around you at all times. You have good people around you now, I can tell. But stay switched on. Your Marijuana strain that you grow on your own ranch “KO Kush” is really nice. It was an honour to taste it and I wish you and your team all the best with this endeavor. Just remember, if someone tries to rip you. Rip their nose off their face. You are a fighting icon and deserve endless love and respect! And from me, you will always have it! If you’ve been across the recent career trajectories of either of these blokes, you’ll know that most of their interactions over the last year or so have been fraught with tension. Notably, Tyson ripped the sh*t out of McGregor before his big fight with Floyd Mayweather and the Irishman hit back with some Twitter comments of his own.

Well, never mind all that. It seems the two have met up to put their beef behind them. McGregor recently shared an Instagram post where he revealed the two gladiators are now the best of buds.

Final thought: It’s great to see these two blokes getting along nicely and passing the proverbial peace-pipe around. Lord knows the world needs more people to just lighten the f**k up and get along with each other.
