Someone has compared Game Of Thrones scenes to Shrek and the similarities are f***en uncanny

Back when Shrek first hit the screens, it blew minds with its clever-as-f**k fracturing of everyone’s favourite fairy tales, spot-on humour and kick-ass story. Deadset, this one pretty much broke the mould for CGI movies, but who would have thought that some 18 years later, Game of Thrones would be borrowing from Shrek the way it borrowed from everything else that came before it? And, yeah, nah, we know that everyone involved with the HBO epic would probably deny it, but these pictures say a thousand bloody words…

First of all, get f**ked. The idea that Shrek came out eighteen f**ken years ago is absolute bulls**t. Here at Ozzyman Reviews, we remember seeing that s**t for the first time and it doesn’t seem that long ago. It really bloody doesn’t.

Moving on, though, we came here to talk about Game of Thrones’ pillaging of the big green ogre’s movies. And there’s no better evidence than Jaime Lannister and Prince Charming. If you were to render a CGI version of the morally fluid incest-enthusiast, you’d come pretty bloody close to Shrek’s nemesis.

And then we come to The Hound. We all know that dude is pretty much an ogre. He’s ugly as f**k, he can eat every f**king chicken in the room, and he loves a bit of the old ultra-violence. He also shops in the same outlets as Shrek. Either that or the two affable arseholes are sharing costumes, because, holy s**t.

Do you need us to compare and contrast Tyrion and Lord Farquaad? How about Arya and Puss in Boots? Because, you know, that s**t’s a little troubling. And that doesn’t even mention Podrich Payne and human Shrek. Or the dragons. Or anything else.

Final thought: Well, the f**ken gig is up, Game of Thrones. We know now where your story came from. We doubt those bloody books were even real. You were ‘borrowing’ from Shrek all along. Cheeky f**kers.
