Locals in this small Aussie town are creeped out by this mysterious doll
Bloody everyone knows full-well that you don’t f**k with creepy little dolls. Yeah, nah, deadset, unless they’re where they bloody belong – in a toy pram or on the shelves of a toy store – dolls are scary as f**k. So, you can only sympathise with locals in the north Queensland town of Lucinda. Check out the creepy s**t they’ve been dealing with…
All right, so first things first, we’re not the sort to just go believing every little folk tale that gets sent our way and we’re not suggesting there’s actually anything supernatural going on here, but just like the Lucinda locals, we are a little wary of the placement of this spooky little bugger.
We’ll let you decide for ya self.
Basically, locals in the town of 406 people are saying the doll’s responsible for everything from boat trouble to bad fishing, and when you see the thing’s location, it’s easy to understand why. Look at there, just innocently sitting on its swing.
And get this, even the local MP, Nick Dametto, has commented on the doll. He said, “Everyone seems to know about the doll but nobody really wants to talk about it.”
Now, we don’t know about you, but we’ve seen enough movies to know that means there’s some proper folk-horror bulls**t going on.
Or maybe not. One bloke interviewed by local rag, the Townsville Bulletin, reckons the doll was innocently put there by a local couple who wanted to add a ‘splash of colour’ to their locale.
Still, you can’t expect Dametto to get to the bottom of it, though. Yeah, nah, he’s clearly seen a few horror movies himself. “This might be pure circumstance or just a modern wives’ tale but it’s something I’m definitely not willing to toy with,” he reckons.
Final thought: All right, we want to know what you lot reckon about this. Where have you seen creepy dolls that shouldn’t have been there? Fill up the comments section with your stories.
