Brazilian synthol user Valdir ‘The Monster’ Segato isn’t planning on stopping any time soon

Every now and then we find ourselves talking about synthol on this website. The injection of this s**t really is a bit of a bizarre phenomenon, but it’s one that the internet and social media has brought before us. After all, the extremes always seem to generate clicks, and these guys are doing great damage to themselves for the sake of online approval. Despite that, Valdir Segato, the guy you see in these pics, has no plans to stop.

OK, if you’ve got a long memory, you might remember us covering Segato before. He’s the bloke who used to be called ‘Skinny Dog’ and who started using because he wanted to be like Arnold Schwarzenegger and The Incredible Hulk.

Now, in fairness, we have to be honest and say that we struggle with a lot of these synthol blokes thinking they look amazing. Yeah, nah, this s**t doesn’t even look real. When you take into account the fact that synthol is so bloody dangerous, putting users at risk of infections, abscesses, strokes and eventually amputations, it’s no wonder doctors are like, “Yeah, nah, cobs. Nah.”

Despite that s**t, Segato has no plans to stop. He reckons, “The doctors tell me to stop it, the advice they give me is to stop using. But it’s my decision to use it because I want to, because I like to.”

He also says, “I get a lot of criticism on social media networks, but I also have millions of fans around the world. People who love me and some who hate me, but I can’t please everyone, so I take everything on board and try not to worry about other people’s opinions.”

But he really should listen, especially when the advice comes from his mate Fernando Carvalho da Silva who’s clearly worried about Segato. He says, “The oil thing is stupidity. He thinks it’s good and I’m a friend, so I stay quiet, but deep down I want to tell him to stop but he doesn’t want to. He’s happy like that. It’s the risk he takes – he wants to look good and wants to be famous.”

Hopefully, Segato sees sense and cuts it out, even though he’s recently been quoted saying, “I would think about making my breasts bigger.”

Trust us Valdir, you don’t need to make you man-boobs any bigger. They’re already rocking. Yeah, nah, you’ve already got quite a rack, dude. Give the synthol a rest.

Final thought: What do you lot reckon about this? Does it make people look good, or does it take them into uncanny valley territory? We reckon the result leaves people looking a bit bloody wrong, but who knows, maybe it’s just us. Share your thoughts in the comments section.
