This bloke’s built his wife a ridgey-didge tiki garden

Rightio, blokes, it seems that a challenge has been laid down. Deadset, if you’ve been slacking off on spoiling the missus, you might not want her to see this bonza bloody tiki garden a Pommy bloke has built for the wife. After spending about 65,000 Ozzy dollarydoos, Chris Lodge has brought tropical holidays home…

Look, we know some of you blokes out there are pretty handy. Jeez, we even respect it, but with this one doing the rounds online, you might wanna either cut the Wifi or spoil your own sheila with some choccies and a bottle of Bundy. Because, seriously, once she sees what Chris has done, the pressure is bloody on.

Anyway, when asked why he did it, Lodge told LadBible, “We used to love our holidays but we have a big business and I work a lot. The business suddenly took off and…we haven’t been able to go on holiday for about six years. I decided I would bring the holiday to us. Now we can go to the bottom of the garden and escape in a tropical paradise.”

The whole thing took two years to build, but tropical paradise is about bloody right. Using the big willow tree in the yard as the centrepiece and inspiration, Lodge went all out with a bloody timber, driftwood and rope bridge, succulents, a freaky tiki hut and a homemade timber bar.

As you can imagine, he’s pretty chuffed and so’s the missus. “You feel like you’re on the other side of the world. You’d never guess you’re at the bottom of a garden in the UK.”

“I want it to be a place where all our friends can come too if they’re having a bad day or feeling down. I want it to be a place where people can just get away. I just love to do things that make people happy and put a smile on their faces. It has taken some time and it’s swallowed up about £35,000 but it’s all worth it as long as it makes us and other people smile.”
