Passenger captures footage of baggage handler carelessly tossing luggage into the air

Travelling is f**ken grouse. Well, OK, let’s rephrase that. Going on holiday is grouse. The actual travelling bit can be a bit sh*t. Not only do you have to run the risk of drunken blokes pissing on your seat, but you also risk the complete lack of consideration baggage handlers like the one in this video display for your possibly precious belongings.

Bloody flying is copping a bit of a bad rub at the moment. If your plane isn’t being shot down by dodgy b*stards, your seat might be getting pissed on by dodgy drunken b*stards and your luggage might be getting launched by dodgy baggage-handling b*stards.

Seriously, have a geez at the baggage handler in this video. She’s tossing those bags harder and faster than Cartman’s mum tosses salad.

Unfortunately for her, she was in full view of a bloody journo from the Australian, Vanessa Marsh. Marsh, seizing her opportunity to shame the dodgy baggage handler, filmed her in the act of jettisoning the luggage down the metal chute and onto the trolley and then uploaded the vid to Twitter.

“The mystery of all my broken suitcases is solved – this is the ground crew at Honolulu loading up #HawaiianAir flight to Phoenix.”

While there’s always an argument for efficiency and there are no ‘Fragile’ stickers apparent on any of the bags, old love does not give a single sh*t what might be in those bags. If you’ve travelled, you know full-well there could be anything from gifts to electronics in there.

The video was viewed some 300,000 times before Hawaiian Airlines were able to comment. “Aloha Vanessa, we’re very sorry to see this and appreciate you bringing it to our attention,’ they wrote.’ The way these bags were handled is not acceptable and our Airport Operations Management team is addressing this situation. Thank you.’

There’s no word on what exactly happened to the dodgy baggage handler, but there doesn’t seem to be any new videos of her treating bags like sh*t.

Final thought: Not everyone enjoys their work. Despite that, everyone should be able to treat others with respect. I’d imagine looking after their sh*t when you’ve been trusted to is a pretty basic thing to follow through with. Come on, baggage handlers. Raise your game. Or at least be smart enough not to get caught and put on the web!
