Sheila’s at local Aussie car-yard have attracted International coverage online
In this day and age, businesses put a lot of credence in their social media accounts and it’s easy to see why. More than ever, we’re consuming the digitals and looking for entertainment online. The funny thing, though, is that while some of the big corporations spend millions trying to get it right, it’s often the local businesses that do it best. We don’t know whether it’s because they’re closer to the grassroots level or because they’re just doing it from the heart, but we like it. One business that’s kicking huge engagement goals online is Southeast Auto Sales…
Yeah, nah, these guys, in Slacks Creek south of Brisbane, have found a niche that’s working for them, and generating bloody thousands of social media clicks. We’re not sure exactly what it is, but something’s going on that’s got people paying attention.
To be honest, we think it’s the personal touch. They take local blokes who are buying cars and they leave ‘em looking goofy as they pose with the sales team when they pick up their new vehicles.
Some followers of the business’s socials are putting the success down to the sales team, but for us, the joy is in the comments that are being left on the posts where the often awkward clients are left grinning like dumbasses.
The biggest running joke is that the guys are only coming in for a service and leaving with new cars as a result of the sales team’s attentions. Anyway, have a look and see if you can figure it out.
