Sheilas have shared these things that men should know, but definitely don’t

Blokes. Sheilas. On so many levels, they’re both the same. On some others, they’re really kinda different. Obviously. And, yeah, while we know it’s a no brain-buster and it’s probably rooted a little bit in a mindset that maybe a little guilty of generalisation, the recent #thingsmendontknowaboutwomen hash tag that trended on Twitter has given sheilas the opportunity to announce a few things they reckon blokes should know about them.

As with all gender-related stuff like this, we’re gonna say that you should read it with a pinch of salt. It’s for fun. Don’t take it too seriously.

Yeah, deadset, blokes and sheilas are different. It’s not rocket-science. And you know what, it’s probably okay for sheilas to generalise about blokes in this way for the sake of a good laugh. And, seriously, if you’re gonna be one of those blokes who gets all offended and starts typing in caps to tell us that ‘feminazis would complain if this thread was the other way around,’ we hear you. We just, well, we don’t care.

So, any of you blokes out there who’ve ever spoken to a female will know that in many ways, they’re not blokes. Don’t get us wrong, some of ‘em are blokes. You know, individual differences and all that, but sheilas quite often do things differently to us.

Far from being a problem, that’s a bloody good thing. After all, differences make the world a better place. And you know what, when the sheilas tell us we should try to understand them and empathise with them, they’re probably right.

Don’t get us wrong. It’s not always possible. And, in the same vein, sheilas should try to understand blokes a little more too. And that, right there, is probably good advice for everyone in your life.

Final thought: Honestly, that message about trying to understand the people you interact with is a good one. Practice empathy. Whether you’re talking to blokes, to sheilas, to anyone in-between, don’t polarize them and see them as ‘not like you’ because of some differences. Just celebrate the ones that are there and enjoy life.
