Tony Hawk teaches 12-yr-old sheila how to skate 100ft mega ramp

Mate, there’s no doubt that the youth of today are a bunch of little legends. Deadset, they might get a bad rap from the oldies out there, but they’re fighting global warming, f**king with politicians, and committing to cool-as-hell personal goals that’d put most of us to shame. Take young skating phenomenon, Sky Brown as an example. This little sheila’s been kicking some serious skating goals, but like all smart cookies, she figured she needed a mentor to help her with her dream to skate Elliot Sloan’s infamous mega ramp. And that’s when Tony Hawk stepped up to the plate…

In a tweet he posted last week, the living legend said, “I got a request from Sky Brown to help her learn @elliotsloan’s “Mega” ramp.

I hadn’t done it for a few years so it was a good excuse to relearn while helping her.”

One watch of the video will show that the little sheila certainly learned from the best. She bloody tears it up. Better yet, she’s using the experience to motivate other girls to strive for their own goals.

In an Instagram post, she explained:

“This was a big one for me, and it really meant a lot to me. It’s hard to explain, but it’s fun and exciting and I want to keep pushing boundaries. I hope that this inspires more little girls to get out there and push with me. We got this!!”

Anyway, we won’t spend ages explaining the whole thing to you. It’s here for to watch. All we’ll say is that it’s bloody awesome of Tony to get out there and help the young lass.

Still, there’s no doubt she deserves the real credit. That’s a serious ramp, and we reckon she’s killing it. Anyway, give it a squiz.

Final thought: There’s not much else to say here. Sky’s a little legend in the making, and she’s definitely deserving of a Top Sheila award. Keep doing what you’re doing, Sky! It’s bloody mintox!
