Mate, if there’s one thing we love to share with the boys here at Ozzy Man Reviews, it’s a couple of cold brewskis. There really is nothing better than chilling out with your mates, knocking some cold ones on the head and talking a load of crap. Thankfully, your best mate can now join in too thanks to some kickass non-alcoholic dog beers…

We’ve said this more than a few times, but bloomin’ dogs are pretty much the best animal on the planet. They’re mighty smart, they’re totally loyal, they’ll guard the hell out of your family, house and belongings, and, perhaps best of all, they’ll even give you someone – who can’t defend themselves – to blame a rancid fart on.

Unfortunately, despite the temptation, it’s just not proper cricket to share a real beer with your doggo. Yeah, nah, that golden nectar will mess them up pretty quickly. Seriously, don’t do it. You can bloody kill ‘em.

That’s why we reckon it’s pretty bloody grouse that you can now buy a special non-alcoholic beer for your mutt. Created by Megan and Steve Long, Good Boy Dog Beer comes in a variety of flavours and gives your best mate the opportunity to join your Sunday sesh and relax in style.

Megan, one of the creators, reckons the idea for the beer came when they were finding ways to help their Rottweiler, Rocky, deal with his allergies:

Our oldest Rottweiler, Rocky, is very sensitive to foods and allergies so we started creating him his own treats and managing his diet better. It helped his allergy outbreaks significantly and we just seemed to progress from there eventually starting our own line of beer for dogs.

Final thought: As we’ve said a thousand times, we love dogs. We also love beer, and we reckon that now we can safely knock back one for us and provide our doggos with a cold one of their very own, we’re gonna have to drink a whole lot more of it. Good stuff. Good stuff indeed!
