Rome escalator takes Russian soccer fans to Destination F**ked!
Holy f**ken sh*t, blokes. Why is it that when a horrible bloody accident does happen it always seems to be in the place you’d least expect? It’s like, we kinda expect people to get f**ked up at airports on the highway, but when it comes to the really shocking sh*t, it’s somewhere seemingly banal and harmless – like a f**ken escalator. Check out the damage done to Russian soccer fans when an escalator in Rome takes them on a fast trip to Destination F**ked!

Okay, so as we pointed out above, we’re going to bloody Rome for this one. The home of Romulus and Remus, the centre of the Roman Empire, and one of Europe’s most important cities, Rome is a pretty f**ken shmick place. Unless of course you’re a Russian football fan and you’re about to get f**ked up on an escalator.
The footage here is f**ken batsh*t. One minute, these blokes and sheilas are travelling down the escalator to the metro at regular escalator speed, the next, hold on to the bloody handrails, keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle, and keep your seatbelt connected, because they’re riding the f**ken death-trap express!

Twenty people were injured – including one who had most of his foot severed – and it took emergency services an hour to cut people free of the collapsed escalator. Deadset, the f**ken casing on the rotating step seems to have collapsed and people got caught in the bloody machinery at the base of it. That’s f**ked.
The chaos happened at Repubblica Metro Station. Rome’s Mayor, Virginia Raggi, said the fans were jumping up and down on the escalator before it collapsed. It’s hard to believe that hasn’t happened before. The city of Rome isn’t exactly shy of a soccer match.

Final thought: You’ve gotta feel a bit of sympathy for anyone who’s hurt in a situation like this. However, it really goes to show that sh*t can happen at any time. Just f**ken be prepared and keep your fingers crossed because when Destination F**ked beckons, you’re on your way!
