This bloke makes throwing and catching a boomerang look like a thing of beauty!

We’re not gonna bulls**t you, we know that in many circles boomerangs are f**ken synonymous with Ozzyland. Our tourist shops are full of the c**ts, they feature pretty heavily in images showing the Ozzy stereotype and, in fairness, we’ve been wont to play that s**t up from time to time. Still, boomerangs have come a long way, and the curved bits of timber you’re probably used to seeing are pretty f**ken far from what pro boomerang throwers are launching through the air.

And in fairness, we have to admit that while our earliest boomerangs are pretty f**ken old, archaeologists have found older ones. Still, that doesn’t detract from the deadly bloody skill our First Nations mates here in Ozzyland honed over years of hunting with these f**ken heckers projectiles.

Anyway, those curved boomerangs are pretty f**ken different to the three-pronged ones the pros are using. Yeah, deadset, boomerang throwing is a legit sport now, and the pros could knock a bloody apple off the top of your head with one if they wanted.

All of which brings us to today’s video. Manuel Schutz is a f**ken legend of the sport, and he’s the dude on film in the footage you’ll see below. Yeah, this bloke can throw a f**ken boomerang with the accuracy of a bloody sniper.

Back in the 90s, he set long-distance boomerang records. In the early 2000s, he won the world championships right here in a land girt by sea. Since then, this Swiss bloke has played a big role in designing the modern boomerang.

Anyway, let’s talk about this bloody video. This little routine is f**ken grouse. He tosses that thing like he’s sick of it and it hurtles through the air like a homing missile. Have a squiz at it. It’s f**ken sailing! It’s soaring. It’s caught the breeze and it’s flying into the sky like Icarus!

But, no, it’s not gonna fall to the ground. It’s back into his hands like a f**ken yoyo. Round and round it goes. This bloke could do this s**t all day. We oughtta make him an honorary f**ken Ozzy!

Final thought: Credit where credit is due, this bloke has got some mad boomerang tekkers. We can’t remember the last time we threw one that actually returned. How about you?
