Cristiano Ronaldo leaves incredibly generous tip at Greek hotel he stayed at

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of those blokes who is really f**ken good at kicking a ball into a big net. Whether there’s anyone better at putting the onion in the onion bag than old Ronnie is debatable, but one thing is certain: he still cops a bit of a hard time for, apparently, being something of a prick. Now, I don’t know if that’s true or not on a personal level, but the bloke does a great deal for charity, and according to this story, he is one hell of a good tipper!

So yeah, apparently some blokes went out the back paddock with Ronny to tip some cows, and it turns out he was bloody grouse at it. What’s that? Not that sort of tip? Oh, got ya. Right, fresh from World Cup disappointment and a f**ken huge transfer to Juventus, the Old Lady of Italian football, the big wanker went for a lovely holiday to Greece.

There, at the Costa Navarino Resort in the Peloponnese Region, he had a lovely time. And it looks like he really rated the staff. When he left, he busted out the chequebook and asked the manager to split a tip of 17,500 euros amongst  all of the staff. That’s bloody 28,000 dollary-doos in Ozzy money.

Now, not hanging around in circles like that, I can’t tell you if that’s the ‘done thing’ or not, but what I can say is that it’s yet another example that, tax-issues aside, Ronaldo is perhaps a little unfairly judged by some. He’s a key player for five major charities and has been known to help out many people with much-needed funds at much-needed times.

There’s a bloody good read here on some of his charity work. Amongst other things, he’s donated over a million to Palestinian schools, paid for surgeries, and helped out after Earthquakes. You can’t look at that and say he’s not a legend.

Final thought: Good on ya, Ronny. You’re clearly a top bloke and a top professional. If we ever need anything here in Ozzyland, we know who to ask. Good sh*t, mate. This top bloke award goes to you. Sit it next to your Ballon d’Ors. It’ll make ‘em a look a bit more impressive.
